Benefits Of Being A Franchise Owner

From the French word franc for free, the word franchise simply means a right or privilege to sell the products or services of a company in a specific territory.

Most of the brand-named stores and services in your community are franchises.

The benefit of the franchise system is that a small business owner gets associated with the prestige and reputation of the franchisor (the owner of the franchise system).  The franchisee, who might otherwise have nothing to distinguish himself, gains access to the sophisticated supply systems, operations techniques, marketing, administration, and even the financing of a company many times his size.  The idea is that, by helping the new guy succeed, the larger parent company gets to grow by using the new guy’s money.  It works, and has worked for centuries.

People who become franchisees are people who enjoy working hard.

They come to realize that they would like to work for themselves but feel that starting a business from scratch is too risky.  They like being an owner but enjoy the security of a community just as much.

If a franchise fails, the franchisor will say it was the fault of the franchisee.  A general tenet of the franchise industry is that if you invest a lot in buying a franchise you’ll work harder to protect your interest.  That may sound reasonable but the people who say it loudest are the sellers of franchises.  “We charge you more so you will work harder to succeed,” is actually used to justify ridiculously high prices on franchises.  The price of a franchise is usually so high that only well-established and financially secure people can participate in the first place.  But they DO buy in.  Why?  Because it works and they can afford the entry fee.

So it’s good to be a franchisee but it’s GREAT to be an Elite Force™ franchisee.

Because of our strength in national contracts, we benefit more by selling many franchises inexpensively than by selling a few franchises at great profit.  We make it easy to own a business so more do.  It’s that simple.

Unless you’ve done it before, even the most secure person is fearful of buying his own business.

Who wouldn’t worry about handling all the details, deadlines, and distress associated with running a small business.  Every business needs the following chores performed:

  • Choosing services to sell.
  • Choosing items to sell.
  • Ordering parts.
  • Answering the phone.
  • Invoicing.
  • Calculating payroll.
  • Paying payroll taxes.
  • Bookkeeping.
  • Marketing.
  • Scheduling your calendar.
  • Designing a website.
  • Finding training.
  • Pricing those services.
  • Pricing those items.
  • Providing warranties.
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Paying bills.
  • Making payroll.
  • Paying sales tax.
  • Compiling federal and state taxes.
  • Ordering supplies.
  • Contacting customers.
  • Finding technical information.
  • Knowing what training to get

We worried for you and designed a system that couldn’t be easier.  Elite Force™ takes care of all of these chores with world-class quality.  Imagine that!  Everything done well at the right time and the right way.  Your extra time can be spent doing the things that actually make you money or spending more time with your family.

Of the many benefits that Elite Force™ provides versus other computer-service franchises, none is more significant than the work we bring to the table.

For 24 years I have been in the business of deploying technical services.  That is, getting the right skills at the right place at the right time to meet the IT (information technology) needs of my clients, companies like Dell™, NCR™, Computer Sciences Corporation™, and Unisys™ among others.

These companies and many others like them have clients of their own with stores, offices, restaurants, or offices in thousands of cities, big and small, across the country.  The number one IT-services complaint among these giants is that no company provides service that is truly consistent and truly nationwide.  The more diverse the geography the more diverse the results - a variety of different technicians with a variety of skill levels provides a variety of quality.  This inconsistency is at odds with the world-class quality ambitions of these companies.

These are the companies that want the Elite Force™ difference - the same technician at the same site month after month, year after year; consistent quality from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon.
